Oral Surgeon Rebekah Brevard, DMD
Dr. Rebekah Brevard is a Board Certified Oral Surgeon who has been in private practice since 2004. She attended UMDNJ Dental School (renamed Rutgers Dental School) in Newark, NJ; graduating in 1999. She then completed a one year General Practice Residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY before entering her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Woodhull Hospital (also in Brooklyn, NY). She was trained in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery; however, her primary areas of interest are with dentoalveolar surgery, oral pathology, and dental anesthesiology.
She is dedicated to treating all of her patients with compassionate and excellent care to promote their dental and overall health.
Dr. Brevard is a member of the ADA, NJDA, and AAOMS. She has participated in GKAS (Give Kids a Smile) and Operation Veterans Smiles. She has served on a committee (composed of many physicians of different backgrounds) that advised members of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) on how to prevent the spread of infection with proper use of needles in health care settings. The “One and Only” campaign is an educational program that this committee helped to create.
She is an active staff member at Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House, NJ. Dr. Brevard resides in Egg Harbor Township, NJ with her family. In her spare time she enjoys reading, exercise and spending time at the Jersey Shore.
